Bus Routes

Bus Rules

In order to ensure safety of our students the code of conduct that has been laid down must be adhered to.

  • Students need to be on time  at their designated  bus stop.
  • They must only use their regular bus, bus route and bus stop.
  • If a student misses the allotted bus, he/she should not board another bus. In such cases, it is the responsibility of the parents to drop their ward to the school. Such students may, however, return home by their allotted bus.
  • They need to wait for the bus to come to a halt before boarding or disembarking.
  • They must remain seated in the bus at all times and stand only when the bus comes to a halt at their designated destination.
  • They must exit and enter through the front door only.
  • The bus must not be littered or vandalized.
  • Students must ensure they do not throw anything out of bus windows or doors.
  • They must not stick out any part of their body or any object while in the bus whether it is stationary or in motion.
  • Students must maintain discipline in the bus and cause no distraction to the driver.
  • Students would not disembark the bus at a stop other than their authorized stop. Drivers are authorized to stop at designated stops only.
  • Negligence or rash driving must be reported to the Transport Manager immediately.
  • Senior students traveling in the bus are expected to ensure the safety and wellbeing of students younger  than them.
  • Inappropriate behavior will invite strict disciplinary action; withdrawal of the bus facility could be one.
  • In case there is requirement of changing the bus stop/bus service for a duration exceeding two days, permission for the same has to be sought through an application on the prescribed form available in the school office.
  • The change shall become effective only after the school grants written permission
