To express heartfelt gratitude and to convey a big thankyou to the supporting staff of the school ‘The Shri Ram Universal School Jakh’ celebrated ‘The International Day or Labour Day’ with full aplomb. During the open assembly the students and parents of Form-III extended as special invitation to the supporting staff.
On this Occasion the Principal Mrs. Ritula Singh in her address stated that according to SHRI Philosophy future leaders need to be made aware of the importance of the working class. The event was organized to forge a better understanding of the labour community among the students who must learn to respect and appreciate their efforts. She also said that the school appreciates the hard toil of the workers put in by them throughout the year and congratulated the students for performing a wonderful skit on the topic ‘Say No to the Child Labour’
The employees were presented with cards, sweets and gifts as a mark of respect, by the students and parents.
The function culminated with a high tea for the school work force and a group photograph. The Shri Ram universal school is one of the best schools in Jammu and Kashmir.
